Tarrell and Aisha, played by André Holland and Andra Day, are raising their son Jermaine. However, Tarrell is tortured by his upbringing, but keeps it calm in his mind with his art. This is all disrupted when his father, played by John Earl Jelks returns to his life with the hopes to reconcile. While his mother, played by Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, turns to god and prays for reconciliation, Tarrell and his father find it not an easy journey.

If you like passionate and drama filled films, then this story about reconciliation and dealing with the pain of childhood and being a father, then this will be a great film to check out this week.

Flight Risk – Releasing in Theaters

When a pilot, played by Mark Wahlberg, must transport a fugitive and their Marshall handler, played by Topher Grace and Michelle Dockery, things take a turn when there appears to be more to this flight than just arriving at their trial.

I don’t know how you can get a whole experience of espionage and thriller in a simple flight across the Alaskan wilderness, but I love Topher Grace, and I’d love to see him play the bad guy once again.

A Real Pain – Releasing in Limited Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 91%

Cousins, played by Jesse Eisenberg and Kieran Culkin, reconnect so they can pay tribute to their grandmother by traveling through Poland. However, no matter how hard they try they can’t bury their hatchet.

The story of their difficulties between themselves are played against the history of the characters family during their time in Poland.

When Skye, played by Naomi Scott, is about to embark on her new world tour, she begins to be overwhelmed by the pressure of the tour and horrors. Can she overcome the demons besieging her before her life is lost.
