Movies For The Week Of September 20, 2024

Bagman – Releasing in Limited Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – (None Available Yet)

Patrick, played by Sam Claflin, was terrorized by the mythical monster the Bagman, like many other children were terrorized. While Patrick was able to escape, when the Bagman returns, he worries that the monster might come for his wife or son, played by Antonia Thomas and Caréll Vincent Rhoden.

This monster sounds like a mix of Krampus and the monster in your closet. If you are looking for a traditional horror film that puts children in the eyes of a monster’s wrath.

A Different Man – Releasing in Limited Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 85%

Aspiring actor, played by real actor Sebastian Stan, undergoes a medical procedure specifically top make his appearance better. However, when he loses the role he was born to play, he becomes obsessed on finding out why and reclaiming it at any cost.

A look into the dark side of Hollywood. This film also gives Sebastian Stan a chance to push his boundries and level of skills in acting.

I Am Still – Releasing in Limited Theaters

Never before seen interviews, concert scenes, and behind the scenes footage about the career and journey of superstar Jung Kook.

If you are a huge fan of Jung Kook, this is a no brainer.

Long Gone Heroes – Releasing in Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – (None Available Yet)

When an ex-soldier who has given up on life finds out his neice is missing, he picks back up the cause and travels into the field of battle and gets cought up in a private operation that went wrong.

Frank Grillo is the soldier, and he is primed and ready to take over the role usually played by a younger Stallone, or Bruce Willis. While he mostly gets cast as villains, I’m excited to see him perform the role of the hero.

Never Let Go – Releasing in Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – (None Available Yet)

Evil has taken over the world. A mother, played by Halle Berry, does her best to keep her twin sons safe within the house. However, one of the boys begins to question if there really is evil outside of the house, if their world is less horror, and more the result of their mother’s lies, and the two twins will question their relationship.

This looks like it’ll be a good film. I mean with director Alexandre Aja who worked on The Hills Have Eyes, and tge executive producers of Stranger Things you’d hope that this film lives up to their prior work quality.
