When a homeless teen, played by Nicholas Hamilton, is taken in by a drama teacher, played by Jared Harris. But the teacher is not prepared for the needs of the teen, as the teenager deals with his dark past, and the secrets he holds.

A heavy handed drama, this film deals with notes of empathy, fatherhood, and what real redeption looks like.

Daryl, played by Mark Wahlberg, is transporting a pilot, played by Michelle Dockery, and their fugitive, played by Topher Grace. However, when things go bad in the air, they must corss the wilderness of Alaska, knowing that neither of them trust each other.

I don’t know how many people are going to want to watch this film simply because of the involvement of Mel Gibson as the director, but I’m actually very interested in seeing Topher Grace play a charismatic criminal, and see how they play with the lines of criminal and their prison guard dynamics.

Into The Deep – Releasing in Limited Theaters and Streaming
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – (None Available Yet)

When a boat of drugs sinks, a group of modern day pirates decide to hunt down the booty. However, to gain access they have to kidnap a boat of tourists, and force a detour of their plans that takes the whole group into shark infested waters.

Part horror, part suspense. The film about sharks attacking people that even pulls in Richard Dreyfuss for the value of his linage.

Presence – Releasing in Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 89%

When a family moves out to an isolated home in a remote location they begin to think that they aren’t alone. Slowly but surely they begin to realize what is actually happening.

This film has a slow-burn, and apparently is so intense that people have walked out of the viewing. Be forewarned there is a lot of stress associated with this film, but looks like it’s worth viewing.

Sherlock Holmes Mare Of The Night – Releasing in Limited Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – (None Available Yet)

When Sherlock Holmes can’t solve a case, it drives him mad and he is pushed into self isolation. But the world can’t exist without Sherlock Holmes, and a visitor comes to convince him to take up the mantle once again.

If you are a fan of Sherlock Holmes, and want a new look at the iconic story, this is a horrifying story for a case that Holmes could never solve.
