Now they have designed and announced Amphi Hi-D which creates a new standard in spatial audio. This is similar to labels like Atmos, Hi-Fi, Hi-Res, and HDR.
The purpose of this is so other companies joining suit in the field of position-adaptive sound technology, will create a consistent 3D audio experience for the listener, or at the very least a baseline to expand from.
Creating Amphi Hi-D allows devices to be scalable and usable for devices as simple as 3-speaker laptops, all the way to professional 6-channel audio gaming devices and displays.
