Taking over a billboard on Sunset Boulevard and La Cienega in Los Angeles, Universal Studios is getting people ready for their much anticipated Fan Fest Nights at the theme park. This billboard is set in the them of Back to the Future as a fan recreated the iconic Marty McFly look from the posters and the original billboard, looking to his watch. On the billboard is a digitial clock, which like the original billboard that counted down to the films release, this clock now counts down to the opening of Universal Fan Fest Nights.
Of course, part of the much anticipated event is the Back to the Future: Destination Hill Valley experience as just one of the many all-new immersive after-hours fandom events. Guests will board the Studio Tour’s “Fan Tram” and venture towards Courthouse Square, the original filming location for the films most recognized scene.
Take pictures in familiar scenes from the series with iconic props. Visit Hill Valley, Lyon Estate, and see a Time Machine on display! Step into the Enchantment Under the Sea dance and Hill Valley Festival. You can even see a recreation of the Clock Tower lightning strike, which will be sending Marty back to the future multiple times each night.
