San Diego Comic-Con is returning to the Gaslamp District of San Diego!
This 4/5 day convention is the big show, an international experience that people fight to get into every year.

501st Legion – Mezzanine
The 501st is an amazing volunteer organization of die-hard fans who use their love of the fandom to help and promote further interests. They offer fundraising, photo ops, and friendship!
Benitez Productions – Booth 1717
Are you a fan of comic book artist Joe Benitez better known more recently for his best-selling steampunk comic Lady Mechanika? Now you can stop by and get a free copy of Lady Mechanika if you aren’t aware of the character. Want to know them more? Check out our interview with him Here!
California Browncoats – A-07, A-08
We always stop by this fun booth that has extreme fans of the franchise working for it. On top of that, our favorite thing is their chopstick charity pull which offers prizes that you can win!
Girl Genius/Studio Foglio – Booth 1737
We love the many works of Phil Foglio and this booth specifically will cover their efforts on the series Girl Genius. If you are a fan of steampunk-themed stories then this is one you should check out.
Legion M – Booth 4022
Legion M is a fan-based studio where everyday people can purchase shares and be part-owners. The amazing company allows their own users to help pick what movie from Sundance they should pick up, and options like being involved in the production of movies and shows are available to investors.
LEGO Systems Inc – 2829
If you are looking for something for the kids, then check out this booth. They have legos to play with, sell exclusives for the convention, and always have something unique for attendees every year!
Steven E. Gordon – 4618
If you are a fan of X-Men Evolution, or one of the dozen of iconic properties that Gordon has worked on in the past, you should pay the man a visit at the con! See our past interview with him Here.
Storm King Productions – Booth 1935
We have been a fan of Storm King Productions now for some time. This company is the comic book company of John Carpenter and Sandy King. VICIOUSKILL – Booth 523
We always love to show off the amazing works of VICIOUSKILL every time we run into them at conventions. This custom shirt company makes unique shirts with exclusives per the convention live on site. Check out our prior coverage of them at Los Angeles Comic Con Here.
Wild Bill’s Craft Beverage Co. – Ticket and Signature Hall
If you love rootbeer, then you should definitely purchase a mug at these booths. The mug comes with root beer throughout the day. If you bring your mug back to future events where they are found, you can purchase another refill for the day or full event. Find out more about them Here.
Gaming Department
Every year there are a lot of things to do, and we feel sorry we don’t get to spend as much time as we’d like in the Gaming department of SDCC. This year our suggestion is that you take advantage of the amazing Dungeons and Dragons games and other roleplaying games up on the Mezzanine level!

Jeanie Croshaw (director/moderator), Christopher Ting (engineer), Zachary Spencer (engineer), Scott Harvey (prop engineer), Keva Tillem (costume designer), Lars Rurdan (junior prop designer), and Amanda Negron (she/her; costume designer) demonstrate the process of building fan-made props, armor, and droids with actual samples of fan-made and professional props used in films. Mo Williams, Shaun Leonard, and Kevin Roy of Roleplay Grabbag, with actors Kim Wong, Ashleigh Morghan, and John Wayne Constance, join for an improv-heavy D&D one-shot. Someone has been murdered in the idyllic village of The Briar, but how? You, the audience, will provide the details and decide the clues, watching a party of suspicious villagers try to solve the case based on the decisions you make. Come plan a murder!

Brian Volk-Weiss from The Toys That Made Us, talks about Nacelle Toys as they take an intergalactic deep dive into their officially licensed Star Trek action figure line, featuring an exclusive first look at the renders for wave two and a sneak peek at wave three! Brace for impact, because Nacelle’s materializing something stellar for your Star Trek collection.
