Midsummer Scream 2025 – Hall Of Shadows Bigger Than Before!

For fans of the Hall of Shadows from last year’s Midsummer Scream, you’ll be happy to know the dark zone is returning to the world’s largest Halloween and horror convention!

In fact, this year they plan to make the Hall of Shadows the largest entryway experience to date! The theme of the space will become “Le Carnaval du Diable” or “The Devil’s Carnival.” Mr. Floats, the infamous medieval clown, will be the master of scare-a-monies as he hunts for souls!

Additionally, Lionsgate will return to the experience with the sequel to their last year’s debut with Lionsgate’s Gears of Fear 2: Stranger Danger!

Other experiences include:

Straite to Hale – An abandoned 1920s funhouse.

Rawl of the Dead – Nosferatu-themed professional photo shoot.

Clowns v Skeletons – Display of oversized props and a ’91 Cadillac Brougham hearse.

CalHauntS – A kingdom filled of panicked townsfolk and a fire-breathing dragon.

Magic of the Jack O’Lanterns – A tease at the whimsical display from Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group.

Haunt With No Name… Yet – Celtic graveyard busy with ghostly activity.

Fear Farm – A farmstead with a rotting pumpkin patch/pop-up bar.

Haunted Carwash – Monsters with a 360° photo experience.

Realm of Shadow – a sneak at their new attraction for Halloween.

The Haunted Harvest – A tribute to horror.

Eulogy Collective (formerly Santa Ana Haunt) – Experience the Seven Deadly Sins.

Lights Out – Recreation of the Whitechapel district.

H&L’s Realm of Horror – An old fashioned haunted manor.

The convention runs from August 15, 2025 through August 17, 2025 at the Long Beach Convention Center. Passes for the show are now available and can be purchased Here! All passes for the convention include admission to every attraction in the Hall of Shadows. If you want priority access, guests can purchase Gold Bat VIP credentials to bypassing General Admission standby queues for most of the attractions in the Hall of Shadows.
