We Visit The Twenty-Sided Tavern In Los Angeles

We’re big fans of D&D, but on the night that we attended the Twenty-Sided Tavern, not everyone in attendance was. The fun thing though, is that I’m sure if you do attend the show you will definitely be interested in giving the game a shot.

The theater has a nice small collection of snacks and drink options for anyone who arrives early, as well as a vendor selling unique Dungeons & Dragons merch from the event for anybody who wishes to peruse their wares. From dice sets to pins, pick up a lot of really cool items to help celebrate your visit to the Twenty-Sided Tavern.

Once you head into the theater, you’ll see a back wall that is reminiscence of a DM’s screen. This interactive screen really does so much heavy lifting as the Game Master and Tavern Master work together to not only give our players their situations, but help the audience feel immersed in the world.

When it comes to the presentation’s players, there are three that are if you’re acting within the show, two standard, and a guests. Your team will be decided by the sticker that you’ll find in your playbill.

During the game, you will help your team decide what attacks they’ll make, and even what character they’ll play, while also providing additional help in the form of tap games to give them advantage or boosts to their rolls.

Every night’s party and story will unique and imaginative thanks to the union of the audience and the general story for the game. So I can easily see how returning multiple times during the shows run would be beneficial.
