Next year will be Six Flags Magic Mountain’s 55th aniversary, and continues the parks work to refurbish and approve the theme park with the last project being the complete refurbishment and improvement of Hurricane Harbor Los Angeles earlier in the year.
The next major improvement to the park is the announcement of major changes to its kids area, transforming and reimagining the space as Looney Tunes Land!
The brand-new park space will include loveable Looney Tunes characters throughout and debuting summer 2026. The space will be broken down into four distinct areas inspired by beloved Chuck Jones era classic characters.
The first space will be a cozy central park, where guests can find Bugs Bunny in his home. Replacing Speedy Gonzalez Hot Rods and Pepe Le Pew’s Tea Party, children will get a thematic free play and exploration zones. While Merrie Melodies Merrie-Go-Round will be refurbished to match the new theme of the area. Wascal’s restaurant, will also get an update.
Next head over to the New Mexico desert to meer the Road Runner being chased by Wile E. Coyote. Road Runner Ridge will showcase ACME traps, rock formations, and an iconic painted tunnel.
Then head over to the lush tropics of Tazmania and hang out with the Tazmania Devil! Within Tazmania, the Whistlestop Train will be rethemed as Taz’s Tasmanian Train Tours and the Taz’s Exploration Trail taking over the space of the Magic Flyer and Tweety’s Escape locations.
Lastly, visit the High Sierra with Daffy Duck. Camp Duck Amuck will take Taz’s Trucking Company and transform it to Daffy’s Forest Four-Wheelers. The Looney Tunes Lodge will be renewed and will now resemble a High Sierra mountain cabin.
If families attend in the meantime, they will still be able to access part of the childrens section, as it will be done in three phases, and only places under construction will be closed.
