Movies and Videos On Demand For The Week Of May 8, 2026

Couples Weekend
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 57%

When two couples, played by Daveed Diggs, Alexandra Daddario, Josh Gad, and Ashley Park, get trapped in a cozy cabin during a blizzard, their passing the time, strips away their inhibitions. What is left between them is the display of secrets, betrayals, and shifting loyalties.

If you are looking for a drama with hints of comedy, although this isn’t rated well, it’s still got to be good for at least a couple of laughs.

When Dzanielle, played by Jill Kargman, sets out to achieve her goal of a million followers, she find herself dealing with fake friends, and questions about who she really is.

This is a film set in the ever growing world of influencers, showcasing how difficult it can be to find a real friend in a world of plastic people.

Mortal Kombat II
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – (None Available Yet)

With the ultimate fighting challenge between the realms returning, and pushing the bounds between worlds, Earth’s champions are once again called upon. This time, the world looks to washed out actor and martial artist Johnny Cage, played by Karl Urban, but will it be enough?

I’m excited to see the world return, since I loved the first in this new line-up. That being said, it will be interesting to see Karl Urban play this highly charasmatic character, after his most recent work.

Neglected
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – (None Available Yet)

When Detective Shaw, played by Josh Duhamel, retires, he is unfortunately called back to the precinct when a murder, played by Dylan Sprouse, who has kidnaped Shaw’s son surrenders himself. Now Shaw is on a clock to solve a series of homicides before Shaw’s son dies.

If you are looking for a dark action film, with mystery and thriller baked into it, then this will be a solid watch.

The Sheep Detectives
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 96%

Shepard George, played by Hugh Jackman, spends his nights reading detective stories to his herd, but when he is murdered, it’s up to his sheep to solve the mystery and make sure the killer is brought to justice.

This feels like a spiritual sequel to Babe, with the thoughts and dialog of the animals presented to the audience, and the animals venture into a high level of action and thought to help their human loved ones.
