The Queen Mary 2 prepares to join Sail 4th 250 this July, a celebrating for America’s 250th anniversary which takes place in New York Harbor and New Jersey. To make this event even more special, Cunard is ramping up to celebrate the Queen Mary 2’s 450th Transatlantic Crossing!
Cunard’s Queen Mary 2 is the only active ocean liner which regularly makes transatlantic crossings between New York, USA and Southampton, UK. In in celebration of America’s 250th anniversay, and the Cruise Liner’s 450th Transatlantic Crossing the company is launching a contest where travelers can win the chance to join the ocean liner for it’s milestone crossing.
The prize winner and a guest will not only experience the rebirth of the golden age of ocean travel, but also receive flights, hotel accommodations in Southampton, and transportation to and from the port. The historic 450th Transatlantic Crossing occurs this November from the 10th through the 17.
