We were invited this year to have breakfast with Buddy! When arriving we were escorted upstairs where they set up the whole floor with some Buddy themed snacks and food. There were Buddy Energy Bars that had a blood orange poundcake flavor with a bloody knife inserted into a poundcake on the front. There were also Buddy Bites which was cereal that came in a to go cup and had your choice of milk to go with it. They also had Bagels and Shamere for us.
During breakfast Buddy himself came out! He was very friendly and smiling while carrying his red axe that he always has with him. Everyone had an opportunity to take a photo with him and as a gift we got an autographed paw print of his headshot.
Once we were all full and took plenty of photos, we were invited into the theatre to see the screening of the film. The director/writer Casper Kelly and lead puppeteer Devon Ludlow said a few words to us before the screening which was very cool.
Breakfast with buddy was a very satisfying morning and the movie surprised me on how well it was done. Make sure you check out the videos we have from the breakfast.
