Stern Pinball, Inc. is teaming up with Kilter Films and Bethesda Game Studios to create a brand new Pinball Cabinet, this time focused around the world of, and television series, Fallout. I collaborate with the new show, the collaboration also included Jonathan Nolan.
Fallout originally released in 1997, and after over 8 games the Fallout continues to grow strong. Now the game is entering the physical arcade space. In the game, players will choose to take on the role of Lucy MacLean, The Ghoul, or Maximus with unique playable side modes and features for each character. Additionally, within the game will battle wastelanders, level up abilities, hack computer terminals, and uncover the horrors of Vault-Tec’s past, present and future.
The new cabinet utilizes the company’s cutting-edge SPIKE 3 technology while also combining both physical and digital gameplay. New to the cabinet Stern is introducing a brand-new S.P.E.C.I.A.L. perk system. If players advance all S.P.E.C.I.A.L. levels to 10, they will unlock exclusive new modes for each character! Insider Connected will allow level advancement to be cumulative and carried between games.
In reference to the ‘The Great War’ occuring in 2077, the Limited Edition cabinet is limited to 770 and features iconic Vault-Tec and Vault Boy imagery, the updated Cabinet Expression Lighting System, updated Speaker Expression Lighting System with Fallout-themed game effects, full-color mirrored backglass, full-color high-definition cabinet decals, exclusive custom pinball armor, a custom designer-autographed bottom arch, upgraded audio system, anti-reflection pinball playfield glass, shaker motor, a sequentially numbered plaque, a custom shooter knob, and a signed Certificate of Authenticity as well as a digital Insider Connected LE owner’s badge on registration.
Pricing of the cabinets include the Pro Edition at an MSRP of $7,299, Premium Edition at an MSRP of $10,699, and the Limited Edition at an MSRP of $13,999.
