Holland America Line is the most well known cruise line, when it comes to visiting Alaska’s wildlife and exploring their wilderness tours. Now, the cruise line has opened it’s bookings for the 2028 Alaska season.
The 2028 season will feature cruises ranging from seven to 18 days! Additionally this season in 2028 will introduce the first ship in Holland America Evolution’s line-up as Oosterdam will have completed it’s transformation, and then serve as the primary ship for Holland America Line’s Alaska Cruisetours!
The cruise line, for this new season, is introducing guests to cruising through the historic Nootka Sound on select Great Alaska Explorer and Great Bear Rainforest voyages. This will be the first time in Holland America Line’s history.

11-Day California to Alaska Cruise – departing April 29, 2028. Visiting: Glacier Bay National Park & Preserve, Juneau, Ketchikan, Wrangell, Klawock, and Prince Rupert.
14-Day Great Alaska Explorer Cruise – departing June 4, 2028 and August 20, 2028. Visting: Juneau, Ketchikan, Prince Rupert, Anchorage, Kodiak, and Valdez. Plus Hubbard Glacier, Endicott Arm/Dawes Glacier, and new scenic cruising through Nootka Sound.
18-Day Great Bear Rainforest & Alaska Explorer Cruise – departing September 13, 2028. Visting: Glacier Bay National Park & Preserve, the Great Bear Rainforest, Bella Bella, Homer, Kodiak, Anchorage, and Valdez. Plus new scenic cruising through Nootka Sound.
16-Day Great Bear Rainforest & Alaska Explorer Cruise – departing April 28, 2028. Visting: the Great Bear Rainforest, Hubbard Glacier, Prince Rupert, Kodiak, Anchorage, and Valdez. Plus scenic cruising through Johnstone Strait, Grenville Channel, and Princess Royal Channel.
