King Features Brings Themed Lounge To Comic-Con Cruise!

One of the really cool things about the first Comic-Con: The Cruise was the take over of places within the ship and theming them around comic book and cartoon themed restuarants and venues. Now King Features announces that they will use some of the licenses and franchises that they hold to create the “The Newstalgia Lounge.”

The location will be an homage to comic strip adventure of the past! The lounge will feature ties into icons like Popeye, Olive Oyl, Flash Gordon, The Phantom, and more!

At the lounge, guests will be able to look at themed art to get into the mood, and try specialty cocktails named for the iconic features including Prince Valiant, Mandrake the Magician, Hägar the Horrible, Blondie and more.

As a remind the cruise will also feature appearances from X-Men’s Dominic Monaghan, The Lord of the Rings’ Billy Boyd, and Harry Potter’s Jason Isaacs, as well as panels, Artists’ Alley, themed parties, and more!

The Comic-Con: The Cruise Vol. 2 will set sail out of Tampa, Florida, on January 30, 2026 and returning to the same port on February 3, 2026.
