The retail edition of Defiant’s Comic Book #1 is arriving to comic book shops on November 6th, 2024. They will be releasing a special cover for the brick and mortar shops that is different from the Kickstarter copies as well as the copies that were on sale at San Diego Comic-Con. If you want your local shops to carry the variant, so you can snag it too, you have until September 26, 2024 to convince your local retailers to pre-order these special editions.
An additional feature for order with the comic shops, are the “Virgin” cover variant of the comic shop copy of Defiant #1. For those not in the know, a “Virgin” variant is when the cover of the comic has removed all the of the logos, titles, and print, simply showcasing the amazing art of the cover. For a comic shop to be able to order a “Virgin” varient however, they have to order 10 regular copies as well, helping your local brick and mortar store fill their shelves with Defiant!
To convince your local store, tell them to turn to the Diamond Previews Catalog and order Defiant Comic Book #1 listed under Stranger Comics in the independent publisher section on Page 386.
