Defendi To Release Echoes Of Heaven For D&D 2024!

A long time ago Robert J Defendi, under his company Final Redoubt Press created a series of Roleplaying game modules based on some unique concepts. One of which was his The Echoes of Heaven series. This series was designed with D&D 3rd Edition, D&D 4th Edition, Rolemaster, and HARP in mind. Now years later, with the huge resurgance of D&D love he is releasing the story once again, updated, adapted, and adjusted to the new 2024 5E rules that just came out.

The story dealt with the concept of a religious movement fracturing and declaring war among themselves as each of them believe the others heratics. That could never happen in reality… right? RIGHT?!

Now you too can pick up a copy, and help support a unique and interesting creator in the field with thier crowdfunding plans for publishment.

For $25 backers can pick up a PDF copy of the campaign, and $35 for the Foundry VTT Module. If you want both it’s bundled for $50. The current plan is to release the module in June, but there is one hang-up in the release. They can’t release the story until Wizards of the Coast release the 2024 rules SRD. The company did promise to release the SRD after their Monster Guide release last month, so it should be soon, but this kickstarter might get delayed only due to that factor, as the module and campaign is compelete and playtested, with the exception of art still in progress.

For anyone who loves roleplaying though, you can always pick up the two really awesome pledge options, the first of which is “Kaffeeklatsch” for $150 which allows you to sit down virtually with Robert J Defendi and pick their brain about the game, module, and redesign, while also getting copies of the pdf and module.

For $250 you can get the chance to play the game with the designer, Robert J Defendi. In fact backers are encuraged to pick this up and play with other backers as there will be 6 slots available at the table. The session will run from 2-4 sessions based on the player progression and will include a session zero to get people ready to what they will expect.

If any of this sounds up you or your gaming groups alley, then check out his Kickstarter Here!
