Eden – Releasing in Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 57%

A group of people, including Jude Law, abandon modern society and settle on a remote uninhabited island. However, when a body shows up, and was killed by another human, it leads them to question what chaos has followed them from the prior world.

If you like drama stories with power struggles and thriller dynamics, this film, while rated poorly should be able to at least perk your interest, just don’t be expecting a top tier film.


Honey Don’t! – Releasing in Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 43%

A dark comedy about Honey O’Donahue, played by Margaret Qualley, who is an investigator from a small-town. When she follows a series of strange deaths, which mysteriously connect back to a church.

If you like comedy, and small town horror stories, then this Ethan Coen film will be a great watch for you.


Lurker – Releasing in Limited Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 97%

Retail clerk Matthew, played by Théodore Pellerin, finds a way to sneak into a rising pop star, played by Archie Madekwe, life and entourage. However, to stay their requires a lot of work as Matthew has to deal with others vying for attention and trying to prove themselves.

This is an interesting film telling the world of parasocial and paranoid relationships and what people will have to do if they want to be viewed in the same league as a celebrity.


Relay – Releasing in Limited Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 82%

Tom, played by Riz Ahmed, is a world class fixer. While he has been made rich brokering lucrative payoffs between corrupt individuals, he keeps himself private and hidden. However, his latest client needs more then usual, needs help surviving, and he might just put his anonymity at risk in protecting her.

More suspense this week, but Relay looks like a fun quasi action film akin to Assassins.


Splitsville – Releasing in Limited Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 75%

While looking for help from his friends, after the threat of divorce from his wife, played by Adria Arjona, Carey, played by Kyle Marvin, turns to his successfully and happily married friends Julie and Paul, played by Dakota Johnson and Michael Angelo Covino. However, when he discovers their secret is an open marriage, Carey makes a mistake that pushes the boundry.

Everyone has that friend couple who pushes boundries to what we think is too far, and this film showcases what might happen if you dipped your tow to deeply into their lives. Monogomy is simple but it’s not for everyone.
