Movies Releasing For The Week of November 15

Charlie’s Angels – Releasing 11/15/19

Charlie’s Angels are back with Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska taking on the titular roles. Charles Townsend’s investigation agency is now going internationally, as they have now more Bosleys, all of which are guiding their teams of Angels toward their missions!

Elizabeth Banks takes over the job as her screenplay is brought to life. Revamped again from the dou of films from Drew Barrymore from the mid 00’s. Hopefully this film will continue the vision that Barrymore wished to bring to life when she was the producer. We always could use strong and smart female heroes in film and television.

Ford v Ferrari – Releasing 11/15/19
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 88%

Based on the story of Carroll Shelby, played by Matt Damon, as he works with Ken Miles, played by Christian Bale, as they try to deseat Ferrari from the championship of 24 Hours of Le Mans race on behalf of Ford Motor Company.

It’s an underdog story, but it also features a major corporation. The acting and light comedy of the peice is pretty amazing, but we must always remember Ford Motor Company has never, and never will be an underdog.

The Good Liar – Releasing 11/15/19
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – (None Available Yet)

Roy, played by Ian McKellen, and Betty, played by Helen Mirren, met each other in the twilight of their life, with Betty having just lost her husband. While their romance begins to take off, Betty’s son thinks that Roy might be just interested in Betty’s money. Which is true, but just the beginning, as Roy’s life of con artistry begins to catch up to him.

I find it so odd that both of these amazing actors have not shared the screen together prior. This film looks to be amazing, and I can’t wait to watch it, but it is very drama and suspense driven. For those reasons some people might not like it, but if they are willing to endure, the acting should be spectacular.

Radioflash – Releasing 11/15/19
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – (None Available Yet)

Reese, played by Brighton Sharbino, loves video games, virtual reality, role playing, and winning. After a military attack though, the western US is cut off from all resources. Her love for video games did not prepare her for a real life fight for survival. With the help of her father, played by Dominic Monaghan, they must attempt to flee the effected area, to safety.

It’s funny to play with the youth of today’s obsession with video games, and compare it to real life scenarios, and this movie looks interesting to me, so I will likely see it, but I want to point out that the US military trains their pilots, and soldiers with video games. So suck it baby boomers and your insulting of video games vs. reality!

The Report – Releasing 11/15/19
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 87%

Daniel Jones, played by Adam Driver, is an investigator for the US Senate, assigned to study the CIA. when he discovers the truth of their detention and interrogation proceedures, he decided that it needs to be made public. However the people in power will do what ever it takes to keep him silent.

Very appropriate in these current times, where the public needs to realize that whistleblowers are usually patriots that can’t stand the abporant behavior of a government left unchecked. It’s every US Citizen’s duty to protect the ideal that is the USA, but you can only do so by forcing it to a high standard then those decided by immoral men.
