During CES we checked out eufy’s new Omni S1 Pro Vacuum. Like other smart vacuums, it moves around your house as a small robot, able to reach areas under tables, and avoiding large items, and doing its best to track your space and understanding your house. However, unlike other models, the Omni S1 Pro also uses lidar to scan the space and build a 3D model for its own understanding. As a result of that, We’ve noticed that it’s able to recognize a part of our house through a child gate, crazy.
The device has a wide mouth vacuum entry point and uses dual spinning brushes to push items into it, while also having a mop head brush for cleaning hardwood floors. Built into the housing is a squeegee that actually wicks the moisture off of the roller during use.
On top of the super smart vacuum, the device actually has an All-in-One Station. This station is a tower that not only houses a vacuum bag to collect the devices dirt bin, but also a clean water and dirty water basin collection system. Additionally, the station has a map roller heater, to prevent mildew, and a charging plate to recharge the vacuum, so you can set and forget your vacuum for a while, until you have to restore and empty their collection materials.
You can choose to manage and direct the smart vacuum via the control buttons on the device, or the All-in-One Station tower, or if you are so inclined you can download the app from eufy. If you download the app, you can actually see the map that the vacuum makes for your property, and its notes of where there is carpet, and where there is hardwood floor. The app will also alert you to any issues with its job, the device, or of any new obstructions or items on the floor.
