Sadie Sink, born Sadie Elizabeth Sink, today celebrates her birthday, which occurred in Brenham, Texas, on April 16, 2002. She comes from a classic family household with three older brothers and a younger sister. As a child she fell in love with acting and would recreate scenes from High School Musical with her brother.
She started acting classes at seven as well as engaging in community theater. Both Sink and her brother Mitchell wanted to persue a professional acting career, so her family moved to New Jersey to give them better options. At nine she received roles in musicals on broadway in productions of White Christmas and Annie.
Her first television debut occured in 2013 for the series The Americans, and then Blue Bloods, followed by American Odyssey.
While Sink has been working in the field of acting for some time, but she raised to notariability for her role as Max in the Netflix’s Stranger Things in 2016 when she was only 14 years old. While the creators felt she was pretty young for the role, her chemistry with Gaten Matarazzo and Caleb McLaughlin was too amazing to not cast her.
In 2022 she was cast in the much loved psychological drama The Whale. She takes up the role of an estranged daughter in this high drama shift for the actress.
And now Sink is rumored to star in the new MCU film Spider-Man: Brand New Day in an undisclosed role.
While there are a lot of comic books with the characters from Stranger Things in it, there aren’t any with Max in it. However, Max does get a novel with Runaway Max, but no comics, so we are just sharing some of our favorite comics generically from Stranger Things.
