Keep an eye out for some of the items that are personalized specifically “Make It You-niversal” meaning they can be engraving or embossing at the Universal Studio Store or at select locations within The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
If you are a Cosplayer, there is a lot of cool items that would interest you, but it’s important to note that while they are encouraging cosplay at the event, they do have a couple rules!
Guests may not create a false impression that they work for Universal or any emergency personnel.
Not coverings that fully or partially obscures a person’s face (except for religious or medical reasons).
Prosthetic makeup is only allowed to conceals or cover the forehead.
Face painting is allowed, but users must be able to facilitate identification and alcoholic beverages will not be served to guests with face painting over more than one-half of the face.
No weapons allowed period.
Weapon props of any kind are permitted UNLESS soft/lightweight/and nonfunctional.
No oversized costumes, atmospheric effects, balloons, veils, long trains or stilts. (cannot measure more than 25” in width and/or 80” in height).
Service animals may not wear or be part of a costume.
Some common sense rules for costumes, and accessories may prohibit access to rides for safety reasons, so make sure the items can fit in the ride vehicle, or can be secured in lockers.
Guests must be fully clothed, including shirts and shoes.
