Celebrate The King Of Bald Boys At Knotts This Sunday!

With Charlie Brown Day occuring this weekend, Sunday February 12, 2023, we wanted to talk a little bit about Knott’s Berry Farm, and what it’s doing to celebrate.

To start, Knott’s relationship with the Peanuts Gang started back in the mid 1970s when they approached Charles M. Schulz to use their characters for the parks mascot. The partnership continued and in 1983 the creation of Camp Snoopy gave the characters a permanent position within the park.

As a way to celebrate their long history with the comic strip, Knott’s is beinging a Charlie Brown Day to the park, which allows guests to dress up in Charlie’s signature yellow zig-zag striped tee, black shorts, and a red baseball cap. If you do participate, then at 12:30pm on the Calico Mine Stage you can join the rest of the cosplayers for a group photo after a special musical game show “It’s Your Life, Charlie Brown.”

While supplies last, guests will also receive a commemorative Charlie Brown Day button. This also takes place during the PEANUTS Celebration that ends on February 26. See our prior article talking about that Here.
