While all of Midsummer Scream is amazing and worth attending for, one of the most impressive displays of the convention is the Hall of Shadows, hence why I wanted to have a separate article/video for our opinions and thoughts.
While a bunch of new haunting venues can get a booth, and tell you about their experience, its something entirely different for an experience to be able to set up a minor haunt experience, and show you why they are unique and stand out in the field.
It’s with that in mind that I fell in love with the experiences we faced at the Sid’s Twisted Toy Box and Staite to Hale’s Horrorama haunted houses. While the larger functions, like Halloween Horror Nights, Knotts, or Six Flags don’t get into the Hall of Shadows, Lionsgate however did! They brought their Gears of Fear 2: Stranger Danger experience, which took you through multiple of their iconic worlds set in horror. I will however say that while their maze was one of the best, I did not like being forced to have to crawl through a car at my current age, but younger fans will definitely love it.
