Angel stadium of Anaheim held for the very first time the Monster Jam Superstar challenge. Before we get into the championship event, right next to the stadium and before it, they turned the lot into the Pit Party area.
The Pit Party was tons of fun, allowing people to have access to get up close and personal with the vehicles from the festivities as well as obtain the signatures and photo ops with the car and drivers. There was a car show, exhibitions of BMX, cross motocross, street bike performances, and even drift racing.
The great people at Great Clips were there giving color hair spray to people’s heads and beards in honor of the Mohawk warrior, and Walmart went all out with a family-fun kids area which included foam archery, football toss, and axe throwing.
For people who wanted a more extreme experience, tailored to Monster Jam, you can spend $40 and ride within a monster truck! Of course it’s a modified version of Megalodon so it could hold multiple riders. The experience rode over bumps, humps, and several fishtails. It was a lot of fun, and a unique experience!
The Pit Party as a whole was a lot of fun. If you spent a little more money, you could also get VIP access to the Pit Party and enter it an hour earlier. However, with four and a half hours dedicated for the Pit Party, the VIP entry wasn’t exactly necessary to really fully enjoy the space.
