Javier, played by Ignacio Diaz-Silverio, is a queer Mexican-American high school student. When a bully event puts him in the hospital though he begins to see visions of a killer stalking his school. Now his friend, played by Ireon Roach, and him are trying to unmask the murderer before he kills again.

An interesting take on the murder trope, but I’ll be honest, I wonder if the victim is the killer. His visions just being his disassociation caused by the injuries from the bullying. It’d be an interesting take.

When Captain Ludvig Kahlen, played by Mads Mikkelsen, seeks out a part of uninhabitable land to tame for his King in Denmark, he upsets the local land ruler, Frederik De Schinkel, and this inhospitable place becomes less a threat then De Schinkel’s vengeance.

While a lot of people love Mads Mikkelsen, people have to remember he does big blockbuster films for the general public, and then also makes some of the most impressive think peices as well. This one looks to be a series historical drama, and while some casual fans might not like it, you can’t argue how well he can act in almost any role.
