Slater King, played by Channing Tatum, is a billionair who is falling hard for a cocktail waitress, played by Naomi Ackie. However, when their romance takes them on a wild ride on a private island, the waitress begins to question if this paradise is real, or if something more scary is going on.

Channing Tatum is having a day right now, this film, following his last looks like fun and interesting. If you are looking for a mystery thriller, then this would be a fun run.

The Crow – Releasing in Theaters

In a reimagination of the original graphic novel. Eric, played by Bill Skarsgård, and Shelly, played by FKA Twigs, are murdered due to Shelly’s actions catching up to them. However, Eric is given a chance to save Shelly’s life by sacrificing himself and hunting down those that would cause others harm.

I’m torn. I really like Bill Skarsgård, but I feel like this film spits on the history of the prior film. Additionally, with the death of Brandon Lee, this probably should have been one film that should have been left alone.

The Forge – Releasing in Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – (None Available Yet)

When Isaiah Wright got out of High School his mom and a business man convince and challenge him to seek a better course of life. Through the prayers Isaiah begins to discover God’s purpose for him and the grand scale of it.

Faith can be a powerful and terrifying thing. Hopefully this film does a good job balancing those factors, because blind faith can be good, but can easily be corrupted.

Place of Bones – Releasing in Limited Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – (None Available Yet)

A remote rancher, played by Heather Graham, and her daughter fight for survival when a wounded man seeking sanctuary and care brings a gang of outlaws to their property with the hopes to reclaim what was taken from them by the wounded man prior.

If you are a fan of westerns, this is a modern version with horror aspects. If you like either of those, then check this one out for sure!

Strange Darling – Releasing in Limited Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 100%

What started as a fun, but twisted, one-night stand is out of control when it spirals into a murder spree from a vicious serial killer.

If you like dark and twisted suspense and crime thrillers, then this one is getting a lot of heat as a good watch!
