When Curtis, played by John Cho, and his family are selected to test a new home artificial intelligence control unit called AIA, they thought it would take their home to the next level. What they didn’t realoze was that it could be capable of jealousy, anger, and bloodlust.

This move reminds me of that Disney movie about the AI house that takes things too far and tries to lock the family in for their own good. It was a good movie then, and this violent horror film looks good too.

Reagan – Releasing in Theaters

The journey of Ronald Reagan, played by Dennis Quaid, as told through the lense of Viktor Petrovich a former KGB officer whose life became tangled with the future president since the early days of his acting career.

In this country you either hate or love Reagan, but you can’t argue his journey from actor to president due to determination and the strong arm of the woman he loved isn’t a hell of a story.

Tokyo Cowboy – Releasing in Limited Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 100%

When a Japanese businessman, played by Arata Iura, goes to a Montana cattle ranch he discovers a journey of self-discovery.

The premise reminds me of City Slickers but with a larger fish out of water element.

The Wasp – Releasing in Limited Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 100%

Two estranged childhood friends, played by Naomie Harris and Natalie Dormer, meet back up years later. However one of the friends was hoping that the other can help them with a very unexpected proposition.
If this sounds familiar, it might be because it was adapted by Morgan Lloyd Malcom from her acclaimed play. It also has some real Strangers on a Train vibe but I’m interested.

You Gotta Believe – Releasing in Limited Theaters

When a little league team, lead by Luke Wilson, dedicates their year to a team mates ailing father, the group miraculously has a record-breaking journey through the season.

Part Angels in the Outfield but dedicated to a real life little league’s 2002 season that became an ESPN highlight. It’s a bit sweet for my personal taste, but a lot of people love these stories.
