Rasheed Stephens is living out of his car in Los Angeles, trying to make his dreams come true of being a stand-up comedian. When he gets his first stand-up gig, things turns crazy when everything that could go wrong does.

This movie is based on a true story, while also featuring Rasheed Stephens as tells his own story. It’s heart filled, and it’s nice to see an artist get to tell their own start in the industry, when it deserves to be told.

When a death calls three generations of the Deetz family back to their home in Winter River, it’s Lydia’s daughter Astrid who rebels and summons Beetlejuice back into their world, unleasing the Afterlife into the human world.

It’s interesting to see this world return after so many years. I’d be interested to see if Beetlejuice is still the villian, or if someone larger and more dangerous looms in the underworld.

When a girl, played by Nadine Crocker, attempts to commit suicide due to her depression, she is involuntarily taken into a mental institution. There she finds friends, and learns a new way to look back at her life.

This is a dark look into the world of mental health, more importantly these topics need more discussions, and I would love for them to do so respectfully.

Emergency – Releasing in Limited Theaters

Set within 1975 through 1977, in which Prime Minister Indira Gandhi acted as Prime Minister and declared a state of emergency for the country due to threats within and outside of the country.

It’s pretty non-important for the film, but it’s interesting that Kangana Ranaut was also elected as a member of the Indian Parliament in 2024! So, thats very interesting.

Facing The Falls – Releasing in Limited Theaters

Telling the story of international disability rights advocate Cara Elizabeth Yar Khan. This documentary will go through a journey to live an extraordinary life and shatter stigma against people living with disabilities.

An interesting story of perseverance against the odds, and determination over fear.
