Victor, played by Leslie Odom, Jr, lost his wife in an earthquake in Haiti a while back, and since has been raising his daughter alone. When his daughter and her friend disappear for three days in the woods, they never returned as they were before. Now the actions of these two girls raise the question of possession, and Victor seaks out the only person alive who has witnessed anything like it before.

Blumhouse Production returns to place their unique style on a classic franchise of horror. This time they have put together what promises to be a thrilling return to the realm of the Exorcist.

A married couple, played by Saoirse Ronan and Paul Mescal, live and work on a secluded piece of land. Their world is quiet and peaceful, but then a stranger throws their life in turmoil with a startling proposal.

Based on Iain Reid’s novel Foe talks about the concept of humanity, and the nature of it. If you like a film to open discussion and fuel thoughts, then this film will be a welcome addition to your queue.


The Marsh King’s Daughter – Releasing in Limited Theaters

Helena, played by Daisy Ridley, thought her life could return to normal, but when her father escapes from jail and runs back to the wilderness, she must hunt him down and pay him back for all the years he held her and her mother captive.

A challenge of being strong enough due to trauma, to overcome and overwhelm those that created the trama. An interesting thing for sure.


Mercy Road – Releasing in Limited Theaters and Streaming A Week Later

A movie that starts with a man covered in blood entering a truck, and then follows the man as he races to save his child who has been kidnapped by a psychopath, and deals with the ramifications of what a person would do to save their family.

The main character of the film is Tom, played by Luke Bracey. This seems like a hyper violent film but covers realistic and core principles that every parent has thought of at one point. What would you do to save your child?


Strange Way of Life – Releasing in Theaters

Years prior, a sheriff and a rancher were hired gunmen, and good friends. Life has taken them in different directions, but when they get the chance to reunite one of them tells them it’s not just their prior relationship that drove them there, but something more. Played by Ethan Hawke and Pedro Pascal.

We don’t normally cover shorts, but this looks amazing, and we can’t wait to watch it!
