When Monk tries to release his book, it gets no attention, or purchases. People specifically tell him they are looking for a black perspective. Monk, played by Jeffrey Wright is black, but they aren’t looking for a Black perspective, but a stereotypical Black perspective. Monk then desides to change his image to reflect that as a joke, and it works.
This is such a wild story, talking about the need to change who you are to be able to become marketable. This looks like a funny, and wild experience that will likely connect with people that are forced to code-switch throughout their life.

After Ginger and Rocky, played by Thandiwe Newton and Zachary Levi, escaped the farm they brought a new little one to their fold. However, a new enemy is starting to rear it’s head at chicken. While Ginger and Rocky were able to break out of the chicken farm, will they be able to break back into a chicken farm?
The life experiences of Thandiwe Newton and Zachary Levi have been all over the place recently. That being said, this PG family-friendly film seems to really connect with people and if you are looking for a children’s film this week, then you might want to check this one out!

Set before the events of the famous book by Roald Dahl, Willy Wonka, played by Timothée Chalamet, just an inventor, magician, and avid chocolate lover would venture out into the world. Through the help of others, Wonka will become the infamous figure the world knows!
This looks like an interesting story, but I’m a little thrown by Timothée Chalamet’s performance. That being said, Hugh Grant alone is enough of a wild presentation to be worth checking out.
