Movies and Videos On Demand For The Week Of June 25, 2021

As we prepare for the opening of theaters and the return to normal life practices, we want to remind people that we are still within the thralls of a pandemic, and recommend people check out our article on ”If You Should Go Out” Here. Until then though, if you do go to a theater make sure it has a policy of requiring attendees to wear masks, and sit in isolated groups out of proximity of other viewers.

Fast & Furious 9 – Releasing in Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 67%

The ninth film in the series of Fast and Furious films. In this one, Dom, played by Vin Diesel, is trying to live a quiet life off the grid with Letty and his son, but his sins return to him when his brother, played by John Cena, teams up with a skilled assassin. Now only Dom and his crew can stop them. Family is everything.

It’s another one of these films. They are candy action films that may not be Shakespeare, but they never hold themselves out to be. All they are fun action-packed adventures in the extremes. If you are looking for an escape, then I highly recommend checking out this film that has finally come to theaters!

Werewolves Within – Releasing in Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – (None Available Yet)

When a new forest ranger, played by Sam Richardson, comes to the town Beaverfield, he arrives when tensions are high and the snowstorm trapping them there makes matters worse. However, when residents start to get gruesomely murdered, he turns to the local friendly postal worker, played by Milana Vayntrub, to keep the villagers calm, and track down the beast.

I’ve been so excited about this film for some time. This film feels like a comedy live-action version of the much-loved game Werewolf, where one member of the party is a monster, and the group has to solve the mystery. Add the very high-quality comedy of this film, and you have an instant hit for your much-needed laughs.
