As we prepare for the opening of theaters and the return to normal life practices, we want to remind people that we are still within the thralls of a pandemic, and recommend people check out our article on “If You Should Go Out” Here. Until then though, if you do go to a theater make sure it has a policy of requiring attendees to wear masks, and sit in isolated groups out of proximity of other viewers.
Eternals – Releasing in Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 56%
A race of ancient aliens has been living on earth for thousands of years. Charged with protecting the planet from an evil enemy, the Deviants, but prohibited from engaging in humanities affairs. This movie will pick up after the events of Endgame, as the Eternals exit the shadows to deal with the resurfacing threat of the Deviants.
This movie is being bombed in reviews right now, but apparently will be a larger movie for the purposes of expanding and explaining several things that are coming up within the MCU as well as showing off the true power of the Celestials and potentially hinting more at the Watchers. Additionally, the cast is amazing, with the likes of Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, and Kumail Nanjiani. We know reviews are rough, but we are still excited to see what changes as the MCU opens up to more heroes.

As the Nazis and Resistance search for a cache of gold during the height of World War II, American soldiers capture a French national, played by Nina Bergman, and force her to lead them to the gold. Who will find it first?
An interesting story of the hunt for gold, with varying interests to be balanced, and the question of good and bad in the height of the war. If you like historical fiction, then you should check out this film.
Hive – Releasing in Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 100%
Based on a true story, Fahrije, played by Yllka Gashi, is dealing with the difficulty of raising her family since her husband was lost at war. With the help of other widows, they pull together and support one another. However, their independence is viewed unfavorably by the men in the village based on concepts of misogynies.
This is an Eastern European film, but I could still see this type of behavior in sects of modern-day America. If you are sensitive to these types of stories, then I warn against seeing this, but it is a journey out of that life.
Red Notice – Releasing in Theaters and Streaming week later.

When Interpol places a Red Notice on The Bishop, played by Gal Gadot, the most wanted art thief, FBI agent John Hartley, played by Dwayne Johnson, will need the help of someone who thinks just like her. For that reason, he turns to Nolan Booth, played by Ryan Reynolds. What ensues is a globe-trotting high-stakes chase!
I’m not a huge fan of Ryan Reynolds films, but the world seems obsessed with him. If you are looking for a good heist film though, you can’t go wrong with talents like Gal Gadot and Dwayne Johnson.
Spencer – Releasing in Theaters

With rumors of affairs and divorce around the corner, Princess Diana, played by Kristen Stewart, arrives at the Sandringham Estate with Prince Charles, played by Jack Farthing, for the holidays. Follow along with the Royal family as they live out these days that lead to the eventual end of their marriage.
I am actually a huge fan of Kristen Stewart, I think she is a lot more talented and likable than people give her credit for. Additionally, people are giving her presentation as Princess Diana high praise. If you are interested in the sordid history of the Royal family, then this is a must-watch.
