Fallen Leaves – Releasing in Limited Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 98%

Set in Helsinki, two people have top overcome alcoholism, and lost connections as they meet and fall for one another.

This is a film by Aki Kaurismaki, and has won a lot of film festivals. If you are looking for something to stand out this week, then this film will be a good option.

The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes – Releasing in Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – (None Available Yet)

Set 64 years before the Hunger Games, Coriolanus Snow, played by Tom Blyth, works with Lucy Gray Baird, played by Rachel Zegler, as she is chosen as tribute for District 12. As the Hunger Games becomes more public, and sensationalized, Snow has to decide what he will ultimately become.

If you are interested knowing how the world formed, and see the world before it became as dark as the three books showcased, and presented in the four original films. True fans of the franchise will have to see this film.

Next Goal Wins – Releasing in Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 48%

Next Goal Wins tells the story of the American Samoa soccer team, who in 2001 lost every FIFA game of the year. To attempt to win their way into the World Cup, they hire Thomas Rongen, played by Michael Fassbender, with plans for him to turn the team around.

This film wants to be the next Cool Runnings. You can see the humor of it, and it’s helmed by Taika Waititi. While the reviews seem to be bad, I am willing to give Waititi the chance, as his humor seems to connect with quite a wide audience.

Thanksgiving – Releasing in Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – (None Available Yet)

In Plymouth, after a Black Friday riot, random killings seem to take a be taking revenge on people for an unknown larger plan and reason. Why is the axe-wielding maniac doing what he is doing.

This seems like a totally over-the-top horror movie, dedicated of course to the Thanksgiving holiday. If you want to see a wacky horror film, that takes itself seriously, to a degree, then this would be the one.

Trolls Band Together – Releasing in Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 55%

Poppy and Branch, played by Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake, are now officially. When Poppy finds out that Branch was secretly part of BroZone, a boyband phenomenon. However, when one of the brothers of the band is kidnapped, the team must work together to stop the nefarious pop-star villains.

These movies are not great, but they really connect with people and children. Now the series includes a group of new talent. For instance, the other bands members are made up of Troye Sivan, Eric André, Daveed Diggs, and Kid Cudi. If you have kids, you are likely watching this one.
