Based on the true story of the Dougherty Gang, this movie takes you on the journey of three siblings, played by Sam Strike, Emory Cohen, and India Eisley, as they flee across the country on a crime spree while doing their best to avoid prison.

The American public loves a good crime spree and burglar story. There does appear to be a little heart here in this one, but we wonder what the takeaway in this film will be.

Camp Hideout – Releasing in Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – (None Available Yet)

When Noah, played by Ethan Drew, bites off more than he can chew stealing a top-secret gadget, he has to go in hiding in a summer camp. However, he learns that keeping hidden among the rowdy campers might be harder than he thinks as everyone here is quite the character!

This comedy feels a lot like the new-age versions of our wish fulfillment kids’ films of the past generation. Instead of a blank check though, it’s classified information. It looks interesting enough and fun enough to hold an interest. Also, it has Christopher Lloyd!

Dumb Money – Releasing in Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 86%

Based on the real story of how a bunch of internet posters found out that Wall Street was shorting GameStop to kill it. This story focuses on a regular guy, Keith Gill, played by Paul Dano, as he sees his effort to save the game store turn into a movement. However, when the fat cats get on to the plan, both sides find out how dangerous the stock market game can be.

People in the financial world think that they are the heroes and victims in this story, but everyone with a braincell outside of that field, knows who they are, what they do, and this film helps showcase a feeling that everyone, or almost everyone understands. Fuck Wall Street.

A Million Miles Away – Releasing in Theaters and Streaming A Week Later
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 91%

The story follows the life of Jose Hernandez, played by Michael Peña, who was the first migrant Farmworker who ever managed to travel to Space. The film showcases his aspirations and journey to making that legendary step into space.

While Michael Peña might be known for his comedic roles recently, it’s nice to see a movie that allows him to try out his abilities to tug on your heart strings. If you are looking for an inspirational film this week, then look no further.
