Rochelle Stops By Astra Lumina!

With winter approaching, the days are getting shorter so stargazers rejoice!

Presented by Fever, Moment Factory’s multisensory Astra Lumina has emerged at the South Coast Botanic Garden in Los Angeles.. Embark on this immersive hour-long night walk amongst the stars, and let the illuminating lights and ethereal songs enchant you and transport you to a place you’ve never experienced before. This is the 17th in the Lumina Enchanted Night Walk in the series.

Each scenic exhibit will spark your curiosity, heighten your emotions, and entertain you with colorful dancing orbs and brilliant rays of light. I imagined the stars guiding me to an alternative world where elevated dreams captured me and brought me back down to a magical world I never knew existed.

Surely I felt like fairies and otherworldly beings were present with us, and no, I wasn’t on any psychedelics of my own. It’s a celestial treat that will leave a lasting imprint on your soul.

This experience, set amidst the backdrop of the garden, is something fresh and unique, especially amidst all the holiday activities happening simultaneously around us. The technology, time and energy put forth is quite remarkable. We highly recommend this for folks of all ages because after all, aren’t we all stargazers, dreamers of a mind to do remarkable and impossible things?

Pro tips::

  • Use the restroom at the entrance before embarking on your walk.
  • While this is open to all ages, the path is uneven so they recommend kids 6 and up, and is not recommended for those who require mobility equipment.
  • Be mindful and stay on the path.
  • Each scene will make you want to take a lot of photos and videos.
  • Dress warm. Because it’s a nighttime event it gets cold!
  • You won’t want to miss out on this spectacular event happening now through January 15th.
