It’s December, so it’s time to spread that holiday cheer. No matter how old you are, you can still make Santa’s nice or naughty list. Check it twice by attending Tinseltown, a holiday pop-up event at the Lost Property Bar in Hollywood.
Before we go into more details of the event, we want to remind people that we are still within the thralls of a pandemic, and recommend people check out our article on “If You Should Go Out” Here. At this event, they take Covid precautions seriously. All attendees must show proof of vaccination to attend, parties should limit their exposure though by grouping up with their own party. You may only unmask when you drink. Now back to the fun!
The first drink, the Flannel Fiesta, is included with your ticket. It’s refreshing and smooth. (The Misunderstood Ginger Whiskey is probably my new favorite whiskey!)
The bar is decked with Christmas cheer, a Wonderland of lights and ornaments right side up and upside down. The drinks are strong and delicious. The company, though intimate in this small setting, is just as fine. This night out at the bar definitely proves to be merry and bright. From taking selfies with Santa to singing along with your fellow barkeeps, to playing fun social games like ring toss at the reindeer, guess the Christmas movie with emojis, and revealing the topic at the top of your naughty list. No one will judge you, you just might get a lump of coal for Christmas this year.
So come on down to Tinseltown! Eat, drink, be merry, and raise your glass to that stranger’s next to you. Odds are you will leave the bar that night with a new friend. Spread the holiday cheer with a cheer to that!
