SXSW 2025: Prime Video Returns To Hotel San Jose!

Prime Video is coming back to SXSW and with their return, they are taking over the iconic Hotel San José!

The activation they are bringing will lean into the women-led content from Prime Video, while also allowing those in attendance walk within the world of the series. The experience will feature small activations within it dedicated to shows like Another Simple Favor, The Summer I Turned Pretty, G20, Picture This, Étoile, Holland, and My Fault: London, all with a hotel themed flair.

Upon arriving, you will tell the Concierge what your preferences are, and they will curate your journey through the experience, including giving you a tote bag, and a prime patch. Each activation has it’s own patch that you can pick-up and add to your tote at the end.

Curated experiences include:

The Cousins Beach Country Club Snack Bar from The Summer I Turned Pretty – Craft a friendship bracelets with layers themed after smoothies.

The Grand Diamond Hotel Command Center from G20 – Help President Sutton and her team navigate a high-stakes terrorist lockdown from the Secret Service command post in an escape room like experience.

The Capri Lounge inspired by Another Simple Favor – Enjoy a classic Gin Martinis and a lemon gelato, including a demonstration on how to make them.

Pia’s Photo Studio from Picture This – Book a professional photo shoot and walk away with jaw-dropping new profile pictures.

The Stage and The Dressing Room from Étoile – Experience the excitement of the ballet world then get ready for the rest of your day!

McLaren Valet from My Fault: London – Check out a brand-new orange McLaren Artura, a breathtaking view of London across the Thames, and a photo-op!

The Tulip Wall celebrating Holland – A free-standing wall of tulips, pick the right one for a prize!

Other additional experiences is the Genre Bar, which has cocktails, and trailers for Prime Video’s hit shows and films. They will also have the Prime Bookstore Café, which will have books that have been adapted into Amazon Originals, like Cross Down, Reacher: Bad Luck and Trouble, The Terminal List, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and more. During the book reading, fans can enjoy light bites like tacos, pastries, and iced coffee.

The experience will run from March 7, 2025 through March 8, 2025 and will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.. Hope to see you there!
