Ty Keegan Simpkins was born on August 6, 2001, in New York City. Acting has just been a thing of life for Ty, as he first appeared on Television when he was only three weeks old!
His first role was a recurring role in One Life to Live, and continued on several other series as well as commercials and print ads.
At the age of Three he starred in the Steven Spielberg film, War of the Worlds. He continued playing smaller children in many feature films. In 2011 he took on the role of Dalton Lambert in the Insidious series, a role he returned to in the second film, and the most recent film in 2023.
However, what we best known him from is the 2013 MCU film, Iron Man 3. In the film Ty Simpkins takes on the role of Harley Keener and stars alongside Robert Downey Jr. as a sidekick and proceeds to help Tony Stark get back into the fight and survive to take on the villians of the film. Originally, Ty has a three movie deal with Marvel, but it’s believed by a lot that the shift to Spider-Man and Sony’s deal with the company shifted attention to Peter Parker instead.
He returned to the MCU as the same role of Harley Keener as he appears at Tony Stark’s funeral in Avengers: Endgame.
