But I will say as soon as I started reading this comic, it shot me back to the memory of the episode, and they have done an incredible job, keeping true to form through the pages of a comic. One that blends heartfelt romance and thought-provoking science fiction. You may have guessed it. We are going to talk about the official graphic novel adaptation of Black Mirror: San Junipero.

My Take
If you know Black Mirror, you already know to expect the unexpected. Every story takes you somewhere completely different, and you’re never quite sure how it will end. If you’ve never experienced Black Mirror before, San Junipero is one of the best places to start.
At its heart, this is a beautifully emotional science fiction story about love, loss, memory, and the connections that shape our lives. It presents a fascinating “what if?” that invites you to reflect on where we all eventually end up, while wrapping those ideas in a heartfelt romance that lingers long after you’ve finished reading.
For me, this was a must-read. It’s thought-provoking, nostalgic, and surprisingly uplifting. In a world that often feels overwhelming, San Junipero offers a welcome reminder to cherish the people we love, the experiences we share, and the hope that can be found even in the most unexpected places.
Just don’t expect a typical love story—this is Black Mirror, after all.
