See How Much Gamescom Games Done Quick’s Raised For Charity!

Earlier in the year we talked about Games Done Quick‘s Gamescom event, (See our prior article Here), but now that the event is over, we wanted to share what the results were!

If you may have known, or might not have, this event specifically raised money for charity, their main focus was Gaming for Democracy.

The event has concluded, and by the end of it, they had raised more than €18,000 for this group on their Twitch and Website! That’s amazing!

Additionally, during the event gamescom GDQ was honored with the Heart of Gaming award, presented on-stage at the gamescom studio in partnership with IGN and selected by a special jury.

What is Games Done Quick up to next? Well they have two more events planned in the near future:

Flames Fatales – all-women speedrunning event – September 13 through September 19, 2026.

Awesome Games Done Quick – Atlanta, Georgia speedrunning event – January 3 through January 9, 2027.

Summer Games Done Quick – Minneapolis, Minnesota speedrunning event – June 20 through June 26, 2027.
