Carnival Cruises Donates To Hawai’i Huricane Relief

Hawai’i has been devistated as a result of the hurricane season, including Hurricane Nola.

To help out with the recovery, the world’s largest cruise company is jumping to the aid of the islands. Carnival, the parent company for Carnival Cruise Line, Holland America Line, and Princess Cruises has donated $25,000 to Direct Relief to help combat the devastations that have been brought to the islands this season.

Carnival understands the island’s importance, not only to it’s residents, but also as a destination that the cruise lines visit more than 200 times a year, including destinations like Nawiliwili, Kahului, Honolulu, Hilo, and Kailua Kona. These ships also bring approximately 528,000 guests to the islands, welcoming them to Hawaii’s rich culture and generous Hawai’ian hospitality.

The funds will also support long-term recovery efforts in Hawai’i following Hurricanes Lala, Hurricane Lowell, and several other powerful storms that have recently impacted the islands.

If you want to help out, or provide more, you can do so at Direct Relief.
