Holland America Line’s Koningsdam ship is returning from Dry Dock after a two‑week dry dock in the Bahamas and is coming back with refreshed features and entertainment venues! Just in time for the ship to transition from the Panama Canal to Alaska cruises for the summer.
Here are some new features of the Koningsdam:
The new larger staterooms can accommodate up to four guests and features a double sofa bed and two beds that can be converted into a queen-size bed. Additionally, four of the staterooms are connecting, which will allow larger groups to book and stay together on the ship.
They also upgraded 22 Vista Suites with new sofa beds, giving families even more options to share rooms!
For the live music venues, the area connecting the Billboard Onboard and Rolling Stone Lounge was updated with added seating for music lovers. Now users can sit between the two venues and watch shows on either side. The casino is now more spacious with an increased footprint. Dining venues Pinnacle Grill, Sel de Mer, and Club Orange also received updates with tables switching from fixed to movable. The ship’s fitness center also received new equipment.
