Are you a fan of VR? Want to be able to experience it in a more full and unique way? We’ve been following bHaptics for a bit now at CES and now their TactSuit Pro and Air are on sale at Meta and are compatible with the Quest 2, Quest Pro, Quest 3, and Quest 3S.
You can quickly connect your TactSuit thanks to the app in Meta’s store. While the App is open the device will notice interactions and utilize its array of feedback devices to stimulate sensation in part with what is going on in the game you are playing.
The TactSuit Air utilizes 16 points of feedback to give users an accurate representation of their personal feedback.
Unfortunately, unlike the TactSuit Pro, the TactSuit Air does not have a front dial to control the vest. All controls must be done via the back of the suits controls and indicators. However, if you just want a vest with feedback, and don’t want to spend a ton of money, the Air gives you a much lower entry point and allows you the ability to still get a big bang, virtually, for your buck!
Both the TactSuit Pro and Air utilize an additional option for other VR headsets, or issues with the application not being approved for that game, and that’s an audio input that will allow the suit to attempt to choose stimulation based on audio cues. The system works best with the application, but it’s nice to have the additional options.
Additionally, the outer fabric layer can be removed to be washed, but don’t wash the mechanical and technological components.
