Honoree of the 2020 and the 2021 CES Innovation Awards, CarePredict announced their remote activity monitoring app TouchPoint for the new years convention. The purpose of TouchPoint? To work in tandem with their Tempo smart wearable tech.
If you are doing what you are supposed to be doing, you are keeping the distance from your elderly family members. This is hard, especially if your older relatives need monitoring to make sure they are safe. Hell even if you aren’t distancing from them, you can’t be around them 24/7 with your own responsibilities.
Now thanks to CarePredict a solution exists. Tracking the wearer’s daily activities, the device can see conditions that can cause an increase in conditions like:
The device will then alert these risks, including restless sleep, sedentary activity, and missed meals to family members through the TouchPoint app.
If you notice things aren’t going well for your relatives, you can reach out to them through the device’s two-way communication feature on the Tempo. If you are having trouble getting them interested in the option, just tell them you’ll call them Dick Tracy. That should get them on board!
