New Comic Highlights for May 2026

There are a lot of comic books coming out next month, and the last Comics Round Up of the month is dedicated to what is coming out the following month. So here are some of the comics I am looking forward to, that are coming out next coming month!


Star Wars: Rogue One – Cassian Andor #1 (from Marvel Comics)
Releasing May 6th, 2026
Set before the events of Rogue One, return to the loveable rogue Cassian Andor as ne infiltrates Kafrene in a tense espionage thriller. Created by Benjamin Percy, with art from Luke Ross.


Dog Tag #1 (from Mad Cave Studios Comics)
Releasing May 6th, 2026
Follow Corporal Tom Fuller in the final battles of World War II. The invation of Normandy, the surrender of Japan. Borrowed from real world stories, but told in a fictional flare, all while focusing on the heroism of those within the conflict. Created by Mark Russell, with art from P. J. Holden.


Godzilla vs. America: Texas #1 (from IDW Publishing Comics)
Releasing May 13th, 2026
Set in the Lone Star State, everything is bigger in Texas, and Godzilla is no exception! Created by Matt Frank, with art from Heather Breckel.
