I had the honor of attending Debbie Durkin’s 17th Annual ECOLUXE Lounge on Friday, March 10th at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.
It was a cold and rainy day, but it didn’t ruin the event benefiting Marleys Mutts Dog Rescue. On-site were therapy dogs and puppies up for adoption to promote “Pawsitive Change”, a program dedicated to criminal justice reform. Many brands for your furry friends were in attendance like SPLEASH, a dog leash water bottle accessory whose innovation sure wowed me; Healthy Paws Herbal Lab, who has the natural remedy your cat or dog needs; Fresh Patch, the patch of turf you concieny leave indoors for your new pup to potty train or your old doggo to use if he can no longer hold it. Hosted by DOGUE Magazine and pet photographer Mary Haber, the ECOLUXE Pawscars Lounge even rolled out the red carpet for dog influencers.
Aside from the delicious Indian-inspired buffet we sampled some other yummies like the mild and spicy hot sauce from SF Sauce, the best condiment on the continent; 375 Park Avenue Spirits offered tastings of their Van Gogh Girl Classic Vodka, Tromba Reposada & Anejo Tequila, Scapegrace Black Gin, and Dictador 20 yr Rum, and Tequila Komos.
Beauty brands included Inca Glow Hair Products, RevealU Skincare, Dream Body Sculpting, and a SAKS 5th Avenue stylist. And Canadian Creekside RNR Luxury Glamping gifted select stars a resort stay in their geodesic domes.
It was surely a day to remember, especially with many stars in attendance like Rodney Mathews (“Bachelorette”, “Bachelor in Paradise”), Nayte Olukoya (“Bachelorette”), Otito Ogbonnia (NFL Pro football player, LA Chargers), Joe Jenkins (“Siesta Keys”), Crystal Manning (Olympic Track & Field athlete), Daniele Lawson (Actor, “King Richard”), Adam Croasdell (Actor), Carrie Bernans (Actress, “Black Panther”, “Avengers”, “End Game”), Gregory Zarian (TV personality, Actor, “Westworld”), Jasmine Davis (“The Chi”), Matt Iseman (Comedian, Host of “American Ninja Warrior”), Janeshia Adams-Ginyard (Emmy Nominee Actress, “Lovecraft Country”, “Wakanda Forever”), Patricia Kara (“Deal or No Deal”), Petri Hawkins Byrd (“Judge Judy”), Naomi Grossman (“American Horror Story”), Marc Anthony Nicolas (Emmy-winning producer CBS “The Talk”), Kiara Lanier (“American Idol”), and Kyra Lizama (“Love Island”).
