Nerd Out: March 2020

“Nerd Out”, back again, this time for the month of March. There are some pretty impressive events this month, and a couple of them are at Universal Studios Hollywood! Make sure to share this guide with others so they can find some fun things to do!

Some of the cool things going on this month are:

The Epic Coming to Los Angeles March 7, 2020.

Who doesn’t like an inflatable. Bounce house anyone? Well the Epic has taken that concept to an insane degree. They merge multiple inflatables, connecting them to over 1000 feet! Included with the insane length will be a 65 foot slide, bounce house, and halloween themed funhouse section. So unleash your inner child here at this event!

While the event is supposed to be for adults, and you have to be over 16 on the regular days, there will be two junior days so that younger children can enjoy the amazing and insane event!

For some weird reason tickets haven’t gone on sale yet, but if you head to the site Here you can register to find out when the tickets actually drop.

320 Conversations Coming to Los Angeles March 9, 2020.

If you are looking for voices in the media helping you realize that you are not alone, then this event headed by Kevin Lyman and Talinda Bennington is designed to help take the stigma away from mental health, while also giving those suffering some stories to help give them hope. Featuring speakers, and performances, this event is uplifting, and necessary for those suffering.

Tickets for this event are free, but you need to register if you want to attend, because the seats are limited. Register for the event Here!

Bravo’s Top Chef Food Festival Coming to Universal City March 19, 2020 and March 20th, 2020.

To celebrate the return of Top Chef on Bravo, and to give the fans of the show, and the regular attendees of Universal Studios a treat, the Bravo’s Top Chef Food Festival was created! Now this event will allow attendees a chance to see the new chefs, and sample Top Chef dishes for the first time! If you are a culinary adventurer, or at the very least a foodie, then this event should be a must on your calendar!

General tickets are $179, and includes access to the food samples, as well as to the event on one of the two days. There at one time was a VIP ticket available that included a lot of really cool goodies, but unfortunately they have sold out. However the Day and Night package for $199 still exists, which for $20 more includes access to the park for the day. It’s really not even a question! Buy your tickets Here!

Peacock Live! Coming to Universal City March 28, 2020 and March 29, 2020.

Peacock is coming! No not an angry bird bent on worldly destruction, the streaming service! While everyone was shocked at the fact that the service would be free, or that it would house a ton of content, maybe you haven’t heard but NBCUniversal is teaming up with Universal Studios Hollywood to create a unique experience to help get people ready!

From stage discussions, fan interactions with celebrities, special guests, all the way to unique once in a lifetime experiences recreating themes from NBCUniversal shows, this is a pretty impressive activation well worth the price of admission! This is only available for two days, but also comes with access to the theme park, so if you were planning on going to Universal Studios soon anyway, make sure to purchase a ticket for this day, including Peacock Live!

General tickets are $99 for a day and $179 for both days, but general tickets for children are six dollars less for a single day at $93, and ten dollars less for the two day at $169. They also have a premium ticket available for $199 for one day, or $349 for both days. The premium package gets you an hour early access, parking, and premium seating, and a full area just for the premium members at the event! Get your tickets for the event Here!

Did we not cover the event enough for your liking on this group article? Well Eric actually did a much deeper dive into the event earlier in the year, and you can find it Here!
