As we all prepare for San Diego Comic Con On July 19, 2023 through July 23, 2023, it’s important to remember the event is a fun and family-friendly (for the most part) experience that not only benefits a large group of fandoms, but also the city as a whole.
This experience brings in a lot of tourism, a ton of business for local business, and basically pays for the salaries for most of the hotel industries staffs (with how much they upcharge the cost of hotel rooms!).
There are tons of pop-ups, events, and activations around the convention that are even open to the public, with no badge required to attend, allowing locals to get in on the fun!
Some important things to remember as San Diego Comic Con comes to the city, the main roads around the Gaslamp district will be very hard to traverse, and the Convention Center will be almost impossible to access via transportation.
Make sure to keep appraised of road closures before heading down to the area, and when possible we highly recommend taking the trolley to the space.
