What’s On Offer For Jason Momoa Led Shark Week!

It’s the 35th anniversary of Shark Week and Discovery has teamed up with Aquaman, Jason Momoa, to host the special event which starts on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at 8pm.
Momoa has dedicated his time and energy to protecting and preserving our oceans and now he is going to participate in t he largest annual celebration of sharks.

Momoa will set up the shows, the journeys, and revelations that will take place through this week.

Here are some of the shows available through the week’s lineup.

Sunday, July 23

8PM on Discovery – “Belly of the Beast: Feeding Frenzy”
To get closer to a great white shark, the crew watch the shark from inside a life-size whale decoy.
9PM on Discovery – “Jaws vs The Meg”
A breakdown and comparison between the MEG and its cousin the great white shark.
10PM on Discovery – “Serial Killer: Red Sea Feeding Frenzy”
Brandon McMillan and Fo Zayed try to solve the reason behind three recent shark attacks off of Egypt’s Red Sea.
11PM on Discovery – “Shark Week: Off the Hook”
Looking into the biggest and most terrifying moments from 35 years of Shark Week.

Monday, July 24

8PM on Discovery – “Great White Fight Club”
A team of experts look into why female white sharks unequivocally dominate the treacherous waters of New Zealand.
9PM on Discovery – “Monster of Bermuda Triangle”
Dr. James Sulikowski and his team look into why a healthy, 10-foot pregnant, Porbeagle shark vanished in the Bermuda Triangle.
10PM on Discovery – “Alien Sharks: Strange New Worlds”
Looking into the otherworldly ocean depths off the tip of South Africa to see sharks bizarre behaviors and otherworldly appearances.

Tuesday, July 25

8PM on Discovery – “Mako Mania: Battle for California”
Dr. Craig O’Connell, Fo Zayed, and Kendyl Berna deploy state-of-the-art technology to search for super makos, and what transformed them into some of the most fiercest predators.
9PM on Discovery – “Raiders of the Lost Shark”
Matt Dicken and Dickie Chivell search for the elusive and colossal shark named Dutchess.
10PM on Discovery – “Monster Hammerheads: Killer Instinct”
Dr. Tristan Guttridge seaks tissue samples from Hammerhead sharks to prove that the shark can reach monster sizes.

Wednesday, July 26

8PM on Discovery – “Air Jaws: Final Frontier”
Andy Casagrande and Jeff Kurr look for the second-ever breaching great white in New Zealand.
9PM on Discovery – “Florida Shark: Blood in the Water”
Paul de Gelder conduct experiments to help discovery methods to mitigate the risk of shark attacks.
10PM on Discovery – “Cocaine Sharks”
Do cocaine-fueled sharks exist? Tom Hird looks to the Florida Keys to see what happens when the sharks come in contact with the drug.

Thursday, July 27

8PM on Discovery – “Jaws in the Shallows”
Dr. Riley Elliott and his wife Amber Jones head to New Zealand to discover why they are terrorizing the beaches.
9PM on Discovery – “Monster Mako: Fresh Blood”
Dr. Austin Gallagher and Andre Musgrove get up close to mako sharks and great whites off the coast of California.

Friday, July 28

Saturday, July 29​

Covering the islands off the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia where local fishers have suggested the biggest white sharks on the planet still roam.
